For those of you who know me, this fact will seem humorous, but: I hate starting projects that I don't finish. Yet, coupled with that statement should be: Almost all my "good ideas" never seem to fully come to fruition. Remnants of my "good ideas" lay restlessly around my house. And, my good-natured husband just smiles as I tell him of some other project I'd like to try.
So, needless to say, I have been going back and forth in my mind for months about actually starting a blog. I love blogs. I love to read them to find out what's going on in someone's life, get nifty ideas, or be challenged by the words of someone else.
But, I'm just not sure if I can do any of those things. First of all--going back to my first statement, I don't know if I can be very faithful in updating. I don't want to start something I can't finish! Secondly, I'm not really a write-all-my-thoughts-out-so-the-whole-world-can-read-them type of girl. Lastly, as silly as this sounds, I am somewhat obsessed with proper grammar; and, I find myself struggling in that area when I write tidbits like this (and that REALLY bothers me).
Nevertheless, here I sit.
I am excited! I know that I'm not going to be posting some astounding nugget of information every day; but, I want to use this blog as a way to hopefully encourage others and share what God has been teaching me. (And, trust me, He has been teaching me a lot lately) Hopefully, through sharing how God has been working in my life, you won't have to drudge through my thoughts but rather be able to reflect on His thoughts (Is. 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.") And, as for the grammar, I guess I'll just take this as an opportunity to refine my writing; but, please, bear with me!
About Me
- Breezy
- First of all, I'm a child of God. I am so thankful for a God that loved me so much that He redeemed me! Secondly, I am the wife of a most-wonderful husband. He is truly is the greatest gift (aside from my salvation) that God has given me. Thirdly, I am a daughter. I have the greatest parents (and in-laws) a person could ask for. They have always been there for me, praying for me and supporting me in all my crazy adventures. Fourthly, I am a sister. I have one of the greatest relationships with my little brother. Although he isn't so little anymore...I guess that works because I've always looked up to him anyway... Lastly, for now, I am a teacher...well, not yet, technically. But, Lord willing, someday soon!
